From the side, the vehicle maintains the dynamic design language of the ID. series, incorporating a black-sloping floating roof, a tapered side profile, and a ducktail-shaped rear, deviating from the conventional stability associated with Volkswagen in the mainstream mid-size car market. Its aerodynamic coefficient is reported to be reduced to 0.23Cd.

The air conditioning system of the 2024 NEW VW ID.7 VIZZION PRIME EV is more intelligent, featuring a sunlight sensor that automatically adjusts air conditioning airflow and temperature based on the position of the sun. Furthermore, the vehicle will include an intelligent parking system consisting of automatic parking assistance and training parking assistance. The “automatic parking assistance” relies on 12 ultrasonic radar sensors and algorithms to achieve automatic horizontal and vertical parking in various spaces. The “training parking assistance” is designed for residential parking scenarios, allowing the car to store five routes for automatic parking within a 50-meter range at a maximum speed of 7 km/h.

In terms of power, the 2024 NEW VW ID.7 VIZZION PRIME EV in the single-motor version has a maximum power of 150 kW, while the dual-motor version features a front motor with a maximum power of 80 kW and a rear motor with a maximum power of 150 kW. It is equipped with a ternary lithium battery produced by the Times FAW Power Battery Co., with a power battery capacity of 84.8 kWh. The two-wheel-drive model has a CLTC comprehensive range of 642 km, while the four-wheel-drive model has a CLTC comprehensive range of 570 km.
